Yiwu in Zhejiang province will hold its annual international intelligent manufacturing equipment expo on Nov 21-23 in the city's international exhibition center, according to a recent news conference held by local authorities.

The 2019 China Yiwu International Intelligence Manufacturing Equipment Expo will feature a series of exhibitions, trade talks, conventions and forums focusing on the "intelligence, greenness and innovation", theme of the event, organizers said. 

The exhibition will cover nearly 40,000 square meters, with around 500 companies and 30,000 professional buyers coming from China and other countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan, Singapore and Italy. 

A highlight of the expo will be an exhibition hall showcasing the latest achievements in the 5G-based digital economy and intelligent factories, among them the applications of artificial intelligence in company management and services. 

An auction of high-tech products from Zhejiang province will take place during the expo, and other activities such as a robot show will be staged, to help the audience learn more about the benefits being brought about by intelligent technologies.
